Massage

What is Massage? The massage practitioner applies manual techniques that affect the soft body tissues that may help to reduce stress and increase circulation. The various techniques helps to reduce muscle tension and create more harmony within your body.
Jennifer Ann Burrus Jennifer Ann Burrus is a graduate of Spectrum Massage School. She specializes in relaxation, deep tissue & clinical treatments. She also works with conditions such as: tendonitis, headaches, migraines, carpal tunnel, scoliosis, back, neck & shoulder pain. Jennifer has practiced natural health and alternative healing techniques for 5 years. She incorporates her passion for wellness into her massage practice. Jennifer is trained in various modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release Techniques & Swedish Gymnastics. She incorporates additional skills learned in the area of Craniosacral, foot reflexology and Polarity Therapy.
Tyhra Owen Tyhra Owen graduated in 2005 from Brenneke School of Massage. Her work has evolved to an intuitive blend of focused and detailed Trigger Point release, nurturing Lomi Lomi, Myofascial and energy work. She loves helping people and finds great joy facilitating relief while holding safe space for release. Each person is met through open eyes as an individual and the treatment is based upon any current needs.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing. Energy Healing involves direct application of Chi for the purpose of strengthening the client's energy system. In a Reiki session you may experience peace, tranquility, relaxation and revitalization. Reiki may help you with relieving pain and stress; speed up healing process; relieve anxiety, depression or grief; relaxation and balance.
Patricia Strand Patricia Strand is a Reiki Master in the Usui System of Natural Healing. She is certified to teach JRT (Japanese Reiki Techniques). She received certification for 1st and 2nd Degree in Jikiden Reiki taught by Tadao Yamaguchi from Japan. Patricia is also a certified Tai Chi Chih Instructor. She holds Certificates for AdultLearning Techniques and Psychic Development and has been doing energy work for over 25 years.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a deep relaxation and an altered state of consciousness that can teach people how to master their own states of awareness; by doing so they can affect their own bodily functions and psychological responses. Hypnotherapy is a relaxation of the mind and body while relaxing on a comfortable massage table. The hypnotherapist makes suggestions that you are relaxing your body, etc and you are in complete control and then uses imagery and suggestion to bring about desired results. Hypnosis has been shown effective in helping to change many behaviors like smoking, weight loss, increase exercise activity, etc.

Circuit Training

Circuit Training Circuit Training is a sequential workout designed to maximize your exercise efforts. This workout is proven method to burn fat, develop strength and increase metabolism. Bowen

Bowen is a soft tissue relaxation technique that resets dysfunctional muscle tension patterns. Bowen therapy supports the body in healing itself. Bowen therapy is effective in acute and chronic conditions including; migraines, neck & back pain, knee pain, tinnitus, tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, ankle sprains, TMJD, carpal tunnel syndrome and more.
Anne Miles LMP, RBP Anne Miles LMP, RBP graduated from Ashmead College and became licensed as a Massage Therapist in 2000. She was the first volunteer Massage Therapist with Positive Women's Network's (PWN) TLC program in 2001 and is a registered Bowen Practitioner. She joined the staff of PWN in June, 2003 and is the Enrollment Coordinator for Breast & Cervical Health.

European Facial

European Facial begins with deep cleansing and a papaya enzyme exfoliate followed by a relaxing 20 minute massage. A mask or product appropriate for your skin type is then applied to complete the facial. European Facials increase circulation and detoxification while slowing premature aging and softening wrinkles and fine lines.
Kathy Peek, Licensed Esthetician Kathy Peek specializes in anti-aging and relaxation treatments. She has been in the beauty industry as a salon owner, sales representative for Revlon Cosmetics and salon educator. Kathy is a Licensed Esthetician/Micro Current Therapist. Kathy received her training at the International Dermal Institute including advanced classes in Reflexology, European Facials and Lymphatic Drainage. She is a certified Micro Current Therapist with Bio-Therapeutic Inc.

Belly Dancing

Learn Belly Dancing for fun & fitness. Join our instructor Maria Bighaus for some instruction in Belly Dancing. Belly Dancing is not only a fun art form, but there are many benefits to it as well. You may experience improved posture and muscle toning, weight loss, stress reduction, and more.
Maria Bighaus Maria Bighaus is a teacher with a sense of spirit, originality, and passion.
Asiya Asiya has been teaching and Belly Dancing throughout the Pacific NW for the last 10+ years. She teaches classical Egyptian Belly Dance in a low impact aerobic style to help your body memorize movement to Middle Eastern rhythms.

Yoga

Yoga's completeness brings balance and health so that those who practice can find growth and fulfillment in all aspects of life. Using asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, nutrition and applied philosophy, the art and science of loving yourself by living from your heart is cultivated. Students will receive individualized attention while learning yoga poses to increase strength, flexibility, endurance, balance and relaxation.
Debby Bliss Debby Bliss has been practicing yoga for over fifteen years and is certified as an instructor. She offers a safe, alignment based yoga which builds flexibility, balance and endurance through stretching exercises and poses. Debby enjoys helping her students learn to release tension, relax and calm the mind through yoga.
Liz Dunn Liz Dunn has been practicing yoga for over ten years and became certified to teach in 2009. She also works as a pediatric nurse and appreciates the opportunity to share her love of yoga and its many health benefits with others: strength, flexibility, balance, ease, awareness. Her training is in a vinyasa style and her classes incorporate slow flow within and between poses. The classes will be a well-rounded practice to awaken your whole body.
Laura Vitale Laura Vitale believes that everyone can do yoga, and her teaching style reflects that belief. She encourages students to listen to their bodies and learn how to be guided from within. Her practice began in 2004, in an attempt to regain strength and mobility after shattering her elbow. She found that the everyday, practical benefits of yoga are more numerous than she had ever imagined. In addition to teaching, Laura is working towards completing her master's degree in English Literature.
Helen Ladd Helen Ladd has been a fitness instructor since 1990 and has taught various classes including High-Low (cardio), Step, Cycling, Kickboxing, Water Aerobics and Pilates. She began practicing yoga in 1998 and obtained her initial instructor training at the Seattle Center of Yoga in 2002. She completed her 200 level RYT certification with Yoga Alliance in 2006. Helen has a passion for yoga and enjoys helping her students discover its many benefits.

T'ai Chi Chih

What is T'ai Chi Chih®? Joy thru movement. It's a set of movements focused on the development of energy called Chi. There are 19 movements and 1 pose. It's not a Martial Art and is nonviolent. Easy to learn in 8 class sessions and appropriate for all levels of fitness.

Benefits of regular practice: Circulates and balances the internal energy, Chi. Increases physical energy, health and well-being. Improves balance, physical fitness, flexibility and stamina. Relieves stress, creates deep relaxation.

Dance Pulse

What is Dance Pulse? Dance Pulse is an aerobic workout that helps you look, feel and express like a dancer. This cardio class is appropriate for ALL LEVELS and designed to be appealing to both dancers and non-dancers. It begins with a 15 minute sculpt and tone session followed by 35 minutes of SIMPLE choreography of non-stop cardio dance to different styles of music and concludes with a 10 minute cool down. Fabulous, Fun, Friday!
Dawn Russell Dawn Russell grew up dancing with Eleanor Leight in Snohomish studying ballet, tap, jazz and gymnastics. She has taught at dance studios and various nonprofit associations locally. Dawn is very excited to have discovered Dance Pulse. She feels that it is a true dancer’s workout that tones, tightens and awakens your body and loves not only the physical benefits but the emotional and spiritual benefits of dance.

Zumba

What is Zumba? Zumba combines hypnotic musical rhythms and tantalizing moves. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning calories. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got a Zumba class! Fun and easy to do for ALL LEVELS.
